Climate and Clothing: The temperature in Hohhot will vary from 15 degrees Celsius to 20 degrees Celsius in mid July, but sharp difference in temperature if you visit grassland and stay there. The temperature in grassland widely ranges between day and night,varies from 8 degrees Celsius to 20 degrees Celsius. A jacket may be needed when you went for traveling out of Hohhot.
Currency: The local currency is RMB. 100 USD is equivalent to RMB 710 for cash exchange.Major credit cards are acceptable in most big shopping centers and hotels.

Electricity: The electricity is supplied at alternating current and the voltage is 220 Volts/frequency 50 Hz.A.C.. Most hotels provide adapters.
Insurance:All attendees are strongly advised to take proper insurance from their own travel agents or airline companies or health systems. The Conference won’t be liable for any accident or injury occurring at the conference.

One Day Tour in Xilamuren Grassland
Itinerary:
Go to Xilamuren (or Huitengxile or Gegentala) grassland by Bus at 08:30 (1.5 hours’ drive). Arrived at the Finger-mutton for lunch. After lunch, try the horse-riding (at one’s own expense) on the grassland, visit the herdmen’s family and taste the dairy products. Watch the arts of Mongolian men: Horse racing, wrestling. Then leaving For Huhhot at 17:30.
Two days tour (Xilamuren Grassland and Resonant Sand Gorge)
Itineraries:
D1: Go to Xilamuren grassland by Bus after breakfast (1.5 hours’ drive). Arrived at the Finger-mutton for lunch. After lunch, try the horse-riding (at one’s own expense) on the grassland, visit the herdmen’s family and taste the dairy products. Watch the three arts of Mongolian men: Horse racing, wrestling and archery. Mongolian toast ceremony at dinner. Watch the Mongolia songs and dances performance at the bonfire party in the evening. Stay over night in Mongolian yurts.
D2: See the sunrise in the morning. Go to the Kubuqi desert in Ordos city by bus after breakfast (4 hours’ drive). Pass by the Yellow River Bridge on the way. Upon arrival, enter the hinterland of the desert by dune buggies. Watch the camel-riding on the sand and sand sliding. Back to Huhhot.
